Ida
My journey began with a deep connection to nature and animals, especially horses, which sparked my interest in the body and movement.
This curiosity led me to work in conventional fitness for years, but I slowly I turned towards a more holistic path, weaving together body, lifestyle and philosophy. I hold a Master’s degree in the Science of Religion from the University of Bergen, where I specialized in the history and philosophy of yoga, and I am certified as a teacher by Yogi Chetan Mahesh Ji, AYM Yoga School, Rishikesh (6016).
As a teached I am dedicated to creating a safe, harmonious, and joyful space for both body and mind. With over 15 years of practice, I teach Hatha yoga, including Yin, Vinyasa flow, and Ashtanga vinyasa, adapting each class to the needs and experiences of my students. I also offer breathwork and meditation, with a focus on stress relief and cultivating resilience in daily life.
As a traveler and teacher in Norwegian, English, and Spanish, I have led courses on intercultural communication as well as yoga for people of all ages and backgrounds. Friends describe me as a wanderer of both the outer world and the inner landscapes of thought and feeling, someone whose empathy often senses what goes unspoken. I feel alive in both movement and stillness, find inspiration in simplicity, and notice the small details that others may overlook. My way of being invites trust, openness, and the courage to live authentically.
